Soooooo cool, Mark! Great to read the stories about all five! I’m amused that I’d thought that Princess Python MIGHT have been a lie because the name was so unlikely - yet the exact reverse is true - that name would have been the MOST likely thing about your non-snake!

Loved these two posts - edge of the seat stuff!

I think you overthought it, but it was still some smart thinking!

Yippee! What do I get for winning? :)

I thought I remembered you saying your father was in the military, so I figured you had been near a volcano. You'll have to pass along a "Thank You for Your Service" to him.

In answer to your question, I have met some famous people. Back in the late 1970s or early 1980s, I met Roland Hooks & Isiah Robertson of the Buffalo BIlls. They were signing autographs at a local mall. They were both nice. Unfortunately, I can't find the autographs anymore. I think something happened to them when we moved to Florida.

I've met several NASCAR Drivers. All have been very nice signing autographs. I met a bunch at a mall in Daytona Beach during Speedweeks. They were from the Camping World Truck Series, Xfinity Series, and Cup Series.

I met fishing pro Blair Wiggins at a Dick's Sporting Goods. He gave me a free device for cutting fluorocarbon line when it is on the spool. That was cool. I wasn't expecting it. He talked with me and he was very nice. Just like you were his buddy.

The prize is the best one you can get. The satisfaction of knowing you were right! What could be better?? (haha!)

I will definitely pass along your message and thank you.

Sounds like you've met some pretty cool people yourself. I think the majority of celebrities who agree to things like convention appearances or autograph signings are usually pretty friendly. Most seem to appreciate the fans, which only makes sense because without them they might not be a "celebrity".

Thanks for playing along :)
